Farming PPI Rises 14%
EghtesadOnline: The Producer Price Index for the sector of “Farming, Horticulture and Traditional Husbandry” in the 12 months ending June 21, which marks the end of spring, increased by 14% compared with last year’s corresponding period.
According to the Statistical Center of Iran, the overall PPI of “Farming, Horticulture and Traditional Husbandry” sector (using 2011 as the base year) stood at 282.6 in Q1, indicating a 4.8% increase compared to the previous quarter (winter) and 9.4% growth over the same quarter of last year, Financial Tribune reported.
